I never thought that his hobby of taking pictures on the streets would turn into a serious wedding photography business. Now his skills and talent on this field is now one of cebu and dumaguete's in demand wedding photographers.

Fishing Trip at D Pond

Last week my friends and I went to Liloan to visit a friend who got married to a local resident girl of the place and as well of our plan to go fishing at D Pond. We got there at 10 am, the weather was fine and its a bit shady too so a good timing to go fishing some fresh Bangus.

From my friends place, we are greeted with a nice and warm welcome and then after a short chitchat, we rode down the hill to reach D Pond - Bangus Fish Farm in Liloan. D Pond didn't have a very nice view like you see on most beach resorts- there are no white sand, no stations and no corals as well - all you see is an ordinary soil divided into parts for fishing.



There are cottages in different sections of the farm and it cost 200 pesos. Another thing you find at D Pond is the Grilling place - too bad they only have one for everyone, you'll see also a small store selling foods and drinks, they got also a videoke if you feel like singing and paraparnillas for fishing that you can rent at 10 Pesos - since we got no fishing rod so we rented.

And so, all of us except for the ladies who are taking pictures, we started fishing. My friend Ulyses catch the first one and a few moments later I fish out one too then another and another. Oh well! it seems to be my lucky day at the D Pond because I got the most fishes from among of us. Opet didn't almost seem to catch one but of God's kindest the persevering boy got one just before we decide to leave. Ferdinand at the other hand seems to have some touch on fishing too. Looks like we got plenty of fishes for lunch time.

Almost 1pm we got out at the D Pond with 2.3 Kilos of Bangus and ofcourse we pay for it - its 180 pesos per kilo - sounds fair but the most important thing is that we enjoyed our fishing trip at that day.

Back to Ulyses place, we prepared our fishes in two different delicacy that is grilled and tuwa (unsa gali english ani?) . We added another delicacy too in our lunch, which is the famous Talaba, got this one for 100 pesos per kilo. We almost feel like at the beach while eating under the coconut tree - Yep! we have fresh coconut juice too and a sweet jackfruit desert. Unsa pa pangitaon!!! :)

Conclusion: The fishes sounds fairly costly but the important thing is we enjoyed fishing it from D Pond.

Camotes Island Trip 2009

It nearly reach a 4 hours trip before we arrive at Camotes Island from Lapu-Lapu City. Two rides on a jeepney headed to Danao Port then a 3 hours boat trip before reaching Camotes Island.

It was a fun trip with a friend and you'll know why when you see the video.

Meanwhile the others are already waiting at Camotes Hillside Academy Inc. (CHAI) - we got there on a bike trip - just a few kilometers from the port. Well just when we arrive, everything is ready and ofcourse the food is right on the table. Kaon sa me oi!!!

Our first trip on Camotes is a ride to Mangodlong Beach - rocky beach resort and cottages are perfectly place on the top of those big rocks. My camera has captured a bright yellow sunset light - it was really nice to look at and ofcourse everyone wants a pic on it. We have a great time spending at Mangodlong beach - it was another place that camotes pride of.

Night time and its time to go back to CHAI - kind'a bit a spooky trip because there were no street lights on our way home but then that includes the fun.

To respect the Holy Week the girls prepared Benignit say "NO TO MEAT". Wow its a special delicacy and looks like everyone can't wait to taste it. Our next trip we brought along with us our precious Benignit. We arrive at Bukilat Cave (everyone thought it was Bulikat Cave - sounds greeny - hehe ) less than an hour trip. Inside is a huge space and you'll notice how beautiful the sun rays lights up the cave. The cold water is so tempting to make a dive - yes ofcourse we did - my camera keeps rolling while there are splashes of water on our faces - effect2x - haha.

Just before we all dried up we head straight to Lanao Lake - there were plenty of people having a family time there. Quite, windy and a peaceful place - a good place to unwind and relax - but we didn't - hehe. Again my one hand camera has captured a momentous and joyful video with friends.

Hills ride up and we're moving to Santiago Beach - many thought it was a mini Boracay kaso lang there were no stations. We arrive there on time and perfectly shady. The girls are having fun jumping up and down and learning to fly ( hahaha- oliver atak kau - na apil pud ko noon) - ofcourse no one succeeded but the camera captured them elevated - pwedi. I've took a couple of pictures of the place and have a short stroll but didn't know I reach the cemetary site - spooky - hehe.

To sum all the trip - it was all fun and spooky and I can't wait for the next trip.

I Miss My Guitar

Last week I brought my guitar to have it fix after my beautiful niece broke its head. Now I'm missing my guitar so much. huhu.. I wish they could fix it quickly. The repairman told me that it would take a week to fix it but its been a week now and I haven't receive any calls from them yet. Hahay.. kanus a pakaha nila maau nila. Ok ra sad basta maau lang pagka repair nila.

John Vesely from Second Hand Serenade Live at Ayala

March 30 of 2009 was the big day at Ayala Cebu when John Vesely from Second Hand Serenade visited and performed live. Me, Tope and Dnan arrive at the place but couldn't make it closer to the stage because its overly crowded. We stayed far from the stage and my camera couldn't make a good capture when I tried to zoom so its kind'a useless to use. There maybe about 7 - 8k fans inluding my friends hehe.. watched the concert and sung along with him. It was indeed really so cool to hear the crowds singing too. The concert didn't last that long but John didn't miss to sing all his hit songs.

Bagsakan Music Videos by Tambasakan Production

Eto walang magawa ang mga tambay kaya naisapan namin gumawa ng music video. Two days kami nag shoot ng video namin buti yon mga tambays astig at cool - I'm not just the one with the idea but sila rin ang dami nilang idea - "sobra talaga". Tambasakan it means TAMBAYS BAGSAKAN that's what we call it here (but I know there's another meaning for it in BISAYA) and it fits right to our first new music video BAGSAKAN by Chito Miranda, Francis M. and Gloc9. I was shocked to know that these guys knows the lyrics well - YAWA RA!!! - so it wasn't that hard for me to edit the videos. Ken as Chito, BoBoy as KiKo and Ryan/martyr (sobrang martyr sa syota nyang may syota) as Gloc9 and special particiption with other Tambays (thanks to them) dedicated this video to the MASTER RAPPER. Koi Fishes Ni Rhyden

My friend showed me some of his top shape Koi Fish and his selling it for a very cheap price but I'm still been thinking if I'll buy some - perhaps maybe when I have a good spot for them. I do like fishes maybe because of the way they behave, their fascinating looks, and the colors they produce. I remember long ago that I used to have a small fish pond in our yard and an aquarium in the house with different kinds of fishes like Goldfish, Angel Fish, Fighting Fish (separated), Koi, Swordfish, Janitor Fish, Cyclids and even Oscar. I know I have plenty more type of fishes before but couldn't recall all of them.
I was in high school when I started it and my neighbors are the ones of great influence. I went to many different fish pet shop in Cebu just to look for nice ones and bought some of them. But all of this fish hobby thing didn't go well for me - I realize it wasn't that easy to take care of them - and feeding alone its not enough. So if you're thinking of fish hobby then you must have a lot of patience and knowledge in raising them.

Sun Cellular System Sucks

Just a while ago my customer came over to me and complain that she was not able to send or call though she already received the confirmation that her phone is loaded with the amount. I told her that this is probably Sun Cellular problem- so she called up Sun Cellular customer service and told her the scenario - you know what the attending agent said? She ask me to check if I loaded the right number - isn't it obvious - my customer receives the confirmation that her phone was loaded. I don't know what that agent been thinking or maybe she wasn't thinking or maybe she's just new and don't know how to deal with it.

The attending agent ask us to wait for a couple minutes so she can check it to their system and guess what, she found nothing well that's weird - how could a system missed it while it is run by computers and why the hell my customer receives the confirmation that it was loaded. Sounds impossible that their system could have bypass the transaction. For what I think, she's not really searching or checking it and if she does look for it and found nothing well their system really sucks.

Okey she found nothing so what? she told my customer to wait for 2-3 days and if she still do not receive it, she better call her back - is the agent been thinking that my customer might urgently need to call or text someone, I guess not! Good thing my customer was just too cool not to argue with her. But the thing is, the way Sun Cellular handles this problem was not helping us at all. Totally disappointing both customer service and network coverage, they both suck.

How To Remove Recycler and Autorun

Yesterday I was pissed off by the Recycler and Autorun virus that keeps coming out even though I manually deleted it in my flash drive. It recreates itself and causes other drives to get infected. I tried to reformat my Flash drive but then again when plug back in one of my computers, there it goes back again - "Ataka ani oi" - expressingly spoken in bisaya its like "Damn this thing". lol :)

When I was about to decide reformatting the infected computers, I luckily dugg the solution from the net. Though the author said that it won't permanently heal the infected drives but it does control the infection. When you run the Flash Disinfector program this will actually creates two programs that disables the Recycler and Autorun virus. If you remove the two programs this will again allows the Recycler and Autorun virus to function again.

Well I think having this special program in my flash drive keep me safe because the autorun function is disable. DOWNLOAD FLASH DISINFECTOR

Last February 2009 I went to Bohol with my friends Opet, Elven and Ferdinand. We took the boat WEESSAM and arrive almost 2 hours to Tagbiliran Pier. I was able to take videos of our trip and we all have a great time even though we messed some things up, but its part of our fun adventure. Checkout the video we got in our Bohol Trip.
