For those who were searching for a simple and neatly illustrated schematic diagram for coin operated computer which stops the mouse and keyboard from functioning when time is over, check out the illustration below.
The coin slot and the digital timer as well as the USB are illustrated with the proper connection of the wires. The mouse and keyboard will freeze whenever the time is over, it will not function or do anything not until the user will insert another coin. This will not shutdown or turn off the monitor (Refer to my previous post to learn more about turning off your monitor when time is up).

I have tried this design and it works pretty awesome.. But please be advised that some motherboards won't work properly with this design especially those with old AGP Slots. I suggest you to use windows 7. I tried using winXP but there is a delay in turning on the Mouse and KB and sometimes it will not work at all..

They are all running on Win7 Ultimate. I don't use deepfreeze coz this runs on your background and slows down pc. I just use regedit to restrict users from changing anything and other stuff..

btw, ask ko lang kung papa.ano ishutdown ang pc pagkatapos mong gamitin? nabanggit mo kasi sa itaas na basahan ang unang blogged. subalit wala akong nakitang steps kung papa.ano ishutdown ang pc mo gamit nitong paraan (k&m freeze).

You can do proper shutdown by pressing your power button.. In my case i only press it once but some motherboard needs to be pressed twice..Hope that helps...

hey can any one help me, turning the timer relay turn in to trigger only, because i am using it to turn on and off the monitor, just like a button just 1 push,
the timer is only relay just a continues connection and if the timer out of time the relay will cut
it is possible to convert in to trigger...

answer: yup may mga sariling wires ang timer na you need to connect tested and working 100% kung naka suldering ang connection to avoid loose connection...

@bolosan sir meron po akong items lahat ng piso net pero ung sa akin ay namamatay eh ung lcd and speaker... mas prepared mo namin gamitin ang ganito kasi pag mouse and keyboard lang eh pwede pa silang makapanood ng movie kahit di na maghulog.....

sir sa akin po baliktad. pag mag insert po ako ng coin hindi mag work ang mouse/kb then pag timesout na mouse/kb is working nah. baliktan po. may problema po ba yong relay ko? pakisagot naman po. thanks. more power..
