GNC Weight Gainer 1850 Review : Building Muscle and Side Effects

I bought GNC weight gainer 1850 last August 01, 2011 at SM Cebu and had finished taking it 9 days after. I followed the serving instructions as indicated. So far I noticed a little increase of weight while my muscles are beginning to form. My friend also noticed the changes, he said "Your body seems to look solid - your muscles are forming". I told him that I did exercise and sports but he doesn't know that I've been taking weight gainer 1850 as supplement.

I've taken my weight gainer after breakfast and during light workouts and on my table tennis game. I've been very active in sports and had my workouts in the morning, push ups, bicep and tricep curls most of the time. It seems to work just fine without any serious side effects after taking GNC weight gainer for a few days. Though this supplement contains high amount of sugar and carbohydrates I don't seem to have any complains other than its expensiveness. I plan to buy another one next month when I enroll in the nearest gym. Hopefully will be able to gain more weight and pure muscles in the next few months if continually taking it.

I've also read some advice on taking GNC weight gainer 1850 and here I've noted.

1) You need to work out with a high level of intensity. I am not talking about going to the gym and doing a couple of sets of bicep curls. I mean doing an extreme workout, whether it is a total body routine or a split. You need to give your body an opportunity to grow, and if you don't then you will gain fat using this product. Too many people take weight gainers thinking they will gain a ton of muscle, but if you don't give your body the stimulus to add muscle then you will just gain fat. I know that you are really underweight, but you don't want to add a ton of fat.

2) Take this product as soon as you are done working out. There are only 5 servings per container, so you need to optimize your consumption.

3) Make sure you get plenty of calories from regular food. There are better ways of getting 1800+ calories in a meal, and real food would be better for you. Weight gainers can be an expensive habit, so see if you can tweak your food intake so that you get the calories that you need.
